Completing this list is one of the easiest recipes to make in Filipino cuisine. Ginataang tulingan is made using “tulingan”, or bonito, one of the most common fish in the Philippines.

Using coconut cream and other ingredients like pork fat, ginger, bilimbi and chili peppers, you get to remove the gaminess of the fish while allowing the creaminess of the coconut milk to absorb into the meat by wrapping it in banana leaves.
