BANANA OATMEAL COOKIES

Ingredients:

  • 3 pieces banana, ripe
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ¼ cup preferred toppings

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mash medium-sized ripe bananas in a bowl. Roughly chop rolled oats and add to the mashed bananas.
  3. Add honey and mix until well combined. If desired, fold in your preferred toppings (we used dried cranberries and chopped walnuts)
  4. Drop dough by the tablespoon, 2 inches apart, on a greased baking sheet. Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to flatten cookies a bit. Bake cookies for 10 to 12 minutes or until brown.
  5. Let cool on the sheet then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
