- Green beans, 20g
- Kidney beans, 20g
- Soybeans, 20g
- Red kidney beans, 20g
- Black beans, 20g
- Rice, 200g
- Liquorice, 10g
- Wash and soak red kidney beans, black beans, kidney beans and soybeans in water; wash green beans, rice and liquorice.
- Add water, rice, beans, and liquorice to inner pot of your Thermos® Shuttle Chef®. Heat and bring to boil.
- Boil for 5 minutes, and insert inner pot into the outer pot of your Shuttle Chef® and simmer for 40 minutes.
Tip: Beans usually do not soften easily when cooked in normal pots. After simmering in Shuttle Chef® for 40 minutes, the hard surface breaks down, releasing the beans’ nutrients completely, giving you the best quality protein.
